Would you believe that this whisky is cheaper here in Israel than in London?

Matured for 14 years in second fill American Ex-Bourbon casks and finished off in Virgin Spanish and American Oak. It has Kashrus Certification by The Manchester Beis Din.

Glenfiddich distillery lies in the heart of the famous Speyside whisky region in the whisky capital town of Dufftown. Glenfiddich single malt whisky is the highest selling brand in the world with well over 12 million bottles sold worldwide in 2011/12. Close on its heels however is The Glenlivet, another Speyside just down the road.

Tasting Notes:

Imagine a huge dollop of Spanish Madeira fruit cake, stuffed with dried fruit, a touch of wood varnish and caramel fudge ice cream with glazed roasted almonds sprinkled on top. For those who love sweet Spanish sherry flavours but want to stay clear of actual ex-sherry matured whisky. This is for you.

From personal experience at our Shabbos table, this dram goes down really well with the ladies. Along with the Glenlivet French Oak 15 YO (French Brandy flavours) and The Glenlivet 16 YO Nadurra (Fresh Green Apples and cider) it is a great way to ween them off the liquors and onto something serious.
